New, longer Tork Universal Hand Towel Roll
The length of the Tork Universal Hand Towel Roll has just been increased from 190m to 300m.
This means that a box now offers 7,344 sheets – more than double the number housed in a case of 3,000 standard folded hand towels.
“The Tork Universal Hand Towel Roll is the same quality product as before, but we have used stretching technology to increase the length of the roll,” said Charlotte. “This reduces maintenance costs since the dispensers now need to be refilled less frequently.”
The fact that the towel roll is now more compact means that storage and handling costs are more than halved. “Time is literally money in the facilities management market, so this reduction in refilling time is a major benefit,” said Charlotte.
The longer rolls also help to reduce customers’ waste disposable bills, since there is now less packaging per metre of roll.
Meanwhile, the packaging for Tork hand towel roll refills has been redesigned to make the boxes both easier to open and carry. Tork Easy Handling boxes feature a perforated flap which means that a knife is no longer required to open them, and handles have been cut into each box to allow the cleaner to carry two at a time.
The refills are environmentally accredited in support of the SCA “A sustainable choice is in your hands” campaign, which means that choosing Tork can help customers meet their sustainability targets.
