Tork Performance well received by customers
The smart, clean image of the Tork Performance wiping system has been well received by manufacturing, car plants, showrooms and refinishing companies.
The Tork Performance range, launched last April, comprises floorstands, centrefeeds and wall-mounted dispensers. “Many production areas are no longer grimy, greasy environments and pride themselves in being ‘clean’,” says object wiping account manager Mike Parkinson-Brown. “The smart, clean lines of Tork Performance dispensers fit in well with this image.
“Customers like the W4 dispenser in particular because it is easy to use and helps to control consumption. Operatives can now take one wiper at a time instead of pulling out metres and metres from a roll.”
The dispensers have been designed to improve workflow and reduce costs by saving maintenance time and reducing waste and over-consumption. They can be used with various Tork wipers for cleaning, wiping, polishing and pre-cleaning.
Satisfied Tork Performance customers include a print company that has replaced rags with Tork Premium Multipurpose 530 in the W4 dispenser. “The rags contained swarf and the company wanted to avoid this getting into their machinery,” said Mike.
“They are happy with the system since Tork Premium 530 is very low linting and the W4 dispenser protects the wipers inside while also helping to control consumption.”
And a catering customer has been enthusing over the side-opening hood of the Tork Performance centrefeed dispensers. “This makes the unit much easier to refill,” said Mike. “Their previous centrefeed dispensers opened from the top which meant some members of staff had to stand on a stool to open them.”
