Tork Report 2 looks at purchasing

New on the website and now available for download is issue 2 of the Tork Report.

This issue looks at the importance of cost in use and how it should be considered above all else - even above the face price of a product - when making purchasing decisions.

The Tork Report is a series of thought leadership articles designed to inform customers on vital issues that are relevant to their businesses.

“We are confident that the Tork Report will provide invaluable insights for customers on key aspects of their businesses such as hygiene, efficiency and sustainability,” said SCA marketing communications co-ordinator Jamie Wright.

Last month Tork Report 1 dealt with the topic of hygiene at home and at work along with the cost to businesses of staff absenteeism. The lead article in Tork Report 2 - "Effective buying - the hidden costs of purchasing" was written by procurement expert Andrew Cox.

New Tork Reports will appear on the website over the next two months, so look out for Tork Report 3 in March.
