Tork focuses on green hygiene at ISSA
Green Hygiene – A Leader in Sustainability was the theme of this year´s Tork stand at ISSA-Interclean.
The stand featured "story walls" on hygiene and sustainability and baby spruce trees were given out to customers.
To underline the hygiene message, SCA revealed full details of its latest Hygiene Matters study. This year’s report revealed that 89 per cent of British respondents claimed they washed their hands more frequently following the advent of swine flu. It also showed that schools were a particular area of concern, with 66 per cent of respondents claiming hygiene should be improved in school washrooms.
The new Tork Performance range of dispensers for workplace wipers made their debut at this year’s event. Also on display was the award-winning Tork Elevation washroom dispenser line which was launched in 2009.
The new Tork soap system was another highlight of the Tork stand. Visitors were invited to try out Tork Premium liquid soaps and free miniature bottles of soap were given out to visitors.
The Tork stand was situated in the dedicated washroom area at the event, a new feature of this year’s exhibition.
“I think it was the right decision,” said Asa Kalentun, SCA Tissue Europe’s North West regional marketing director. “Being in a dedicated washroom area made it is easier for customers to find us. Our stand was very busy and we received some high quality leads.”
