Tork launches new 50ml hand lotion
New from Tork is a perfume and colour-free hand lotion available in a pocket-sized format.
Tork Premium Hand Lotion 50ml will appeal in particular to the healthcare sector where staff carry out frequent handwashing – a practice that can dry out the skin. Tork Premium Hand Lotion was previously available only in a 475ml bottle.
“We launched the personal-sized version as a portable solution,” said SCA product and segment manager Charlotte Branwhite. “It is particularly aimed at healthcare staff who need to wash their hands frequently by the very nature of their jobs.”
Tork Premium Hand Lotion contains lipids to restore the skin’s natural fatty acids plus antioxidant vitamin E. It has been independently dermatologically tested and is both perfume- and colour-free. It is also accredited with the Nordic Swan environmental certificate.
SCA NHS account manager Paula Howard said: “Nurses wash their hands between 15 and 20 times per shift and many trusts encourage the use of alcohol rubs as well. By creating a personal bottle of Tork Premium Hand Lotion to keep with them at all times we are helping healthcare staff to avoid the problem of their hands drying out as well as other, more serious dermatological problems.”
