New Tork Elevation washroom dispenser family
SCA is launching a new line of washroom dispensers that combines cutting-edge functionality with world-class design.
Tork Elevation dispensers are designed to be more visually pleasing, more intuitive and more user-friendly than any other washroom dispenser range on the global market.
SCA Tissue Europe’s UK and Ireland marketing director Jenny Turner said: “We listened to our customers and discovered they wanted hygienic dispensers that were easy to use and refill, while also offering a more aesthetically pleasing appearance than the industrial-style dispensers of the past.
“So we invited a team of internationally-renowned designers to pitch us their designs and the result is an attractive and highly functional line of dispensers that will give public area washrooms all over the world an exciting ‘lift’.”
Environmental considerations were important
The winning concept was created by Swedish-American designer Thomas Meyerhoffer who has worked with leading brands Apple, Porsche and Nike.
Tork Elevation dispensers feature a large, semi-transparent window that provides an attractive, seamless design while allowing the facilities manager to tell at a glance when they need refilling.
Like all other Tork products, the new dispensers have been created with consideration for the environment. They are made from recyclable plastic and packed in recyclable cartons, and each dispenser naturally reduces consumption of the product inside while also being sufficiently robust for long-lasting performance.
The Tork Elevation range comprises 16 dispensers for paper towels, toilet paper, liquid soap and air fresheners.
“This is the most important Tork product launch for 10 years,” said Jenny. “We expect the new dispensers to become the industry standard and completely change the face of away-from-home washrooms of the future.”
The Tork Elevation range is available from February 2009 and will be sold alongside the design-led Tork Aluminium range of dispensers.
