SCA staff dig deep to help Haitian victims
SCA employees in the Americas have now donated more than $17,000 from their own pockets to support earthquake victims in Haiti.
The company is matching these donations which means that together with previous donations SCA and its staff have sent more than $80,000 to Haiti.
“The extraordinary generosity of SCA’s employees is awe-inspiring,” says Sune Lundin, president of SCA Americas. “I am very proud to be a part of this caring team.”
Toilet tissue to Haiti
SCA has already made a corporate donation to the Red Cross of $50,000 to aid victims of the earthquake. Meanwhile, SCA in Mexico and Central America has sent toilet tissue, feminine care and incontinence products to Haiti.
The earthquake devastated Haiti’s capital city Port-au-Prince earlier this year, and the Red Cross estimates that approximately three million people have been affected by the disaster.
