Tork launches colour-coded cleaning cloths
Tork has launched a range of strong, absorbent cleaning cloths that allow tasks in hygiene-sensitive areas to be segregated by colour.
New Tork Premium Specialist colour-coded cloths allow companies to adhere more effectively to HACCP guidelines.
“The cloths are ideal for facilities services companies, the food industry, catering outlets, the healthcare sector and commercial offices,” said Mark Riley, SCA Tissue Europe industrial product and market manager.
“The fact that they come in four colours - red, blue, green and yellow – means that they can each be used for different tasks to avoid the risk of cross-contamination.”
The disposable cloths can be used for both cleaning and polishing tasks and come in compact packs that can be conveniently stored or transported. This makes them particularly suitable for use on a cleaning trolley.
Ideal for HACCP systems
“In a busy kitchen environment where people are moving from one task to another, it helps to have a well-defined cleaning system in place,” said Mark. “For example, a cleaning system can specify red cloths for surface cleaning and blue cloths for wiping dishes. This cleaning regime can then be written into the operation’s own HACCP system."
Tork Premium Specialist colour-coded cloths are suitable for repeated light wiping, sanitising and general cleaning tasks. The cloths are 30cm by 38cm in size and come in packs of 40. They have been food contact approved by independent testing institute ISEGA.
