Tork precision cleaning is put to work in dialysis centre

Tork Premium Specialist precision cleaning cloths are helping to cut Tork supplies dialysis centre Saarlouiscosts at a dialysis centre in Saarlouis in south-west Germany.

The cloths are being used to disinfect equipment and clean bedsteads at the centre.

Tork Premium Specialist precision cleaning cloths come in a dry roll format in the Tork Handy Bucket. Staff simply need to add disinfectant to the bucket and replace the lid to prevent the wipes from drying out.

“The dispenser is not only handy, but economical too,” said Carmen Meiers, who is responsible for hygiene at the dialysis centre. “Thanks to the bucket's huge capacity and the product's long life, a great deal of money can be saved.”

The bucket holds six litres of cleaning solution and the wiper roll consists of 250 Tork Premium Specialist precision cleaning cloths, each measuring 17.5 x 28 cm. These are dispensed one by one in a centrefeed action.

With a conventional bucket, the disinfectant has to be changed every 24 hours, but the hermetically-sealed lid of the Tork Handy Bucket guarantees safe storage of the wipers for up to 30 days. This has been verified by the Institute for Hygiene and Public Health at the University of Bonn.

Saarlouis uses Tork Handy Bucket“Tork precision cleaning cloths in the Handy Bucket are the optimal format for our cleaning tasks,” says Carmen. “Since they are low linting and tear-resistant even when wet, they will clean sensitive surfaces without leaving any residue. The switch to the dispenser bucket system paid off - hygienically, practically, aesthetically and financially.”

Any cleaning solution can be added to the dry roll in the bucket depending on the task to be carried out. This means the cloths are pre-soaked with the solution and there is always a new cloth at hand.
