After 2020’s virtual event, Interclean Amsterdam will be welcoming visitors back to the RAI from 10-13 May. At the show, Tork, an Essity brand, will showcase award-winning products, services, and innovations that support customers ambitions to elevate their businesses with sustainable hygiene management.
After two years of living with COVID-19, public hygiene is now more critical than ever. The way facility managers and facility service companies secure new hygiene standards and implement cleaning processes plays a key role in helping people feel safe. Tork leads the way with insights and innovation when it comes to empowering customers with the right knowledge, hygiene products and services. At Interclean Amsterdam 2022, Tork will promote sustainable hygiene management and innovative cleaning solutions and Tork representatives are looking forward to seeing cleaning and hygiene professionals face to face again in Amsterdam.
“Sustainable hygiene management is key in professional cleaning – be it in workplaces and offices or in the healthcare sector”, says Anna Königson Koopmans, Marketing Director Commercial for Essity’s professional hygiene business. “Knowing that the expectations from visitors, employees, cleaning staff, patients and environmental service workers regarding cleaning and hygiene are higher than ever, this year’s event plays an important role.”
For Tork, it is not only about contributing to an ever-improving hygiene standard to make sure people are safe. Delivering sustainable solutions has become key. “Customers are taking a more holistic look at ways to improve their cleaning operations by selecting products and services that help reduce waste and are efficient and sustainable. By delivering sustainable hygiene management we can make a difference in the market – and provide tailored hygiene solutions for our customers”, says Anna Königson Koopmans.
As the leading global professional hygiene brand, Tork helps customers elevate their sustainable hygiene management. At the Interclean Stage, Tork experts will therefore discuss both the challenges and opportunities of new hybrid office working models as well as how hygiene and sustainability can go hand in hand. During further thought leadership sessions, Tork speakers will additionally focus on the importance of partnerships in healthcare cleaning at the Healthcare Cleaning Forum. And benefits of data-driven cleaning will be the topic at the Healthcare Cleaning LAB.
At the Tork stand, visitors can experience innovative and sustainable hygiene solutions:
- Tork PeakServe® – a continuous hand towel system setting a new standard for high-capacity dispensing
- Tork Skincare – a complete range of effective hand sanitisers and soaps with carefully chosen ingredients

The Amsterdam Innovation Award will be another highlight at this year’s Interclean – and it is an honour that the Tork Heavy-Duty Cleaning Cloth, 99% Biobased has been nominated in the category “Sustainability & Environment”. It helps to lower the consumption of fossil-based materials in industry and foodservice, while improving cleaning efficiency.
As part of the Amsterdam Innovation Award, visitors can cast a vote, and help make Tork the Visitors’ Choice Winner. The prize is awarded to the nominee that is recognised as being the most innovative by Interclean visitors. The winner will be announced during the award ceremony on the opening day of the exhibition.
